Antiquated Technologies Series: Vintage Sewing Machine Jamboree

Textiles, Folk Art/Crafts
Vintage Sewing Machine enthusiasts come together to share their love for these beautiful and functional machines that are still stitching after all these years. Collectors will tell stories about the history, mystery, and maintenance of sewing machines. A variety of models will be available to try out, including toy, electric, and people-powered treadle and hand cranks. Additionally, quilts created by the Washington Stars Quilt Guild will be on display throughout the library and in the library lobby. This program is part of the Antiquated Technologies Series and is sponsored by the Friends of the Lacey Library.
