New York based Bill Sims Jr. is a regular on the NY blues scene and a favorite at IPC’s Blues Vespers. In 2004 he co-starred in the play Lackawanna Blues at the Seattle Repertory Theatre. Sims was the composer and musical director for the Broadway production of August Wilson's Seven Guitars. He was the musical advisor for the film Cadillac Records, teaching Jeffrey Wright how to play guitar like Muddy Waters. All offerings collected will go to the peacemaking efforts of the Presbyterian Church.
