Jen Elek

Jennifer Elek is a glass artist who lives and works in Seattle, WA. Jennifer received her BFA from Alfred University in 1994. Jen has continued her education at Pilchuck Glass School, and Haystack Mountain School of Crafts. She has taught at The Pilchuck Glass School and worked there as a staff member. Since moving to Seattle in 1995 Jen has been working for artists such as Lino Tagliapietra and Dale Chihuly. Jen has taught glassblowing workshops throughout the U.S. and internationally including Israel, Canada and Japan. Currently Jennifer and her husband Jeremy Bert maintain their art studio in south Seattle creating one of a kind pieces crafted of glass, clay, metals and neon. She has most recently exhibited her work at The Museum of Neon Art in Los Angeles and The Houston Center of Contemporary Craft. Jennifer is represented in Seattle by The McLeod Residence and Vetri International Glass.
