Rock Hushka, Director of Curatorial Administration and Curator of Contemporary and Northwest Art will consider how artists of the Northwest have adapted concepts of surrealism first explored by European artists in the early twentieth century. He will be joined by artist Mary Ann Peters who will discuss how her artistic process has been influenced by surrealism and respond to other works in The Surrealist Impulse.
