Celebrate World Music!
Eight composers, 11 solo artists, more than 12 traditional instruments from around the world, one Grammy-winning conductor and a top symphonic orchestra are the line-up for this innovative music event. Eight composers created original works for instruments association with a particular country or culture. Solo artists will perform on Persian tar, Didgeridoo and clapping sticks, fiddles, bagpipes, cimbalom, Flamenco guitar and more. Accompanied by The Northwest Sinfonia, David Sabee conducting.
