Musical Performance featuring James Blunt
All The Lost Souls is the follow-up to James Blunt's 2005 debut release, Back To Bedlam, which sold in excess of 11 million copies worldwide (including 700,000 in Canada), was No. 1 in 18 countries, Top 10 in 35 countries and received five Grammy nominations.
All The Lost Souls was recorded in Los Angeles with Back to Bedlam producer Tom Rothrock, and features Blunt's touring band. The 10-song cycle about life and death, shows tremendous growth from Back to Bedlam, which Blunt describes as 'a very honest, slightly naïve collection of thoughts, emotions and experience. I wrote them without any knowledge that anyone would hear them.' All the Lost Souls opens with the layered single '1973,' a nostalgic look back at sharing great times with friends. Songs such as 'One of the Brightest Stars' and 'Annie' deal with the vagaries and distortions that fame can bring. 'Carry You Home' and 'I'll Take Everything' tackle our fragile mortality, while 'I Really Want You' and 'Same Mistake' showcase Blunt at his most vulnerable.
Don't miss James Blunt as he performs live for the first time in Saskatoon, at the Credit Union Centre with special guests Luke Doucet & The White Falcon..
