This is one of the Northwest's best kept secrets. It's a lovely, scenic drive (100 miles) from Portland, through the Columbia Gorge. Maryhill has an interesting and varied collection ... Native American art and artifacts, European and American painting, a collection of Rodin sculptures and watercolors, and much more! Don't miss Stonehenge - a full-size replica that's about 3 miles from the main museum. It was built by Maryhill's founder Sam Hill.

Amazing eclectic collection, including works by Rodin, basketry and other items from tribes around America, the large chess set collection, items and regalia from the (then) Queen of Romania, fashion mannequins, and much more...all in a wonderful home turned museum on a high hill overlooking the gorgeous Columbia River Gorge. Great venue in a great, if not convenient, location. Absolutely worth the trip.
