Masterworks Choral Ensemble Presents Pop Meets the Classics

Great music inspires – and an inspired musician can masterfully transform the familiar into something new and innovative. Over the centuries, many of the world’s most celebrated composers borrowed, reinterpreted and rearranged music written by their peers and predecessors. This concert celebrates popular contemporary hits with classical connections, including Pocol Harum’s "A Whiter Shade of Pale" and "Strangers in Paradise" from the Broadway musical, Kismet.
