Masterworks Choral Ensemble Presents Deo Gloria!

This concert features the joyous sounds from the Baroque era with performances of Vivaldi’s Gloria and Bach’s Magnificat. From lively and outgoing, to introspective and lyrical, Baroque was the first musical style to incorporate vocal motifs, improvisation and lavish embellishments into its structure. Reflecting themes of both secular and spiritual life, the “musical word paintings” of the Baroque era are loved and respected for the stories they tell.
