Wrinkles of Washington! (WOW) is producing an original musical comedy on September 5, 6 and 7, 2008. The show, written by several WOW members, is set in the Alaska Territory during the Gold Rush of 1897. Those seeking their fortunes are drawn to the town of Paradise in hopes of locating the lost Mizer mine. Many of the men find themselves lost and lonely and when an enterprising con-man arranges for a group of ?mail-order? brides, there is excitement and anticipation among the gold-seekers. An eccentric inventor, Professor Albert Whinestine, is convinced he can create a machine which will ?de-wrinkle? the map to the lost mine, but finds his machine will do much more than he expected! The dancing of the Prime Time Tappers, the comedy of the Last Time Tappers and the group of male dancers, and the wonderful singing and musical numbers will leave the audience laughing and humming along. Many newcomers add their talent to the group of regulars this year to make it a very exciting show.
